[RL] Ivy/Duo - Eros Virus
The Valentine Manor seemed almost depressingly empty. That description was one that Isabella Valentine had not even thought to use since she was but a child and trapped in the juvenile need for constant attention. Eros's lovely little 'birthday' virus had changed that, so much, comparatively, for the worst, since it inspired a strange sort of void in the little part of her mind which allowed her to feel what little she could feel.
Surprising, the thought entered the Countessa's mind. It wasn't like her to think so of the vast manor which she had grown up in, from its doorstep to its basement alchemic laboratory.
And yet, in the throes of a virus bestowed by a supposedly benevolent god, the place seemed dark, desolate, lonely, stretching on to forever in front of her eyes.
The tall, statuesque noblewoman who would normally prefer to stand and travel around her own "household" at will, was huddled in an odd cocoon of deep wine-colored silk bedsheets, which she knew would temporarily soothe the strange crawling sensations through her skin with their luxurious texture.
Temporarily.
God, she was beginning to hate that word.
